Buddha's Creek is awesome! just a place Bangalore needed. My wife and me had a perfect afternoon date in the open with some super lounge music, wine, and SPICY Sri Lankan food. Loved the place. Can't wait to go there with a bunch of friends in the evening.

The place and the ambience is excellent. The food is good, however it looks like you have to wait endlessly until the food arrived. The side dishes arrived first and we had to wait for atleast another 45 mins (not kidding - we really timed it) until the parata arrived. By which time the food was cold. Overall its an excellent place with the poorest service !!!!
My fav.: Spicy chicken with ceylon parata

Excellent place, but pretty bad food and service. Very good place for have lazed out evening to have drinks and all. But if you are used to Indian style of properly-cooked non-veg items, then you are going to be disappointed. Price vs quantity was also not too good. But yes, after few drinks you may not notice such finer points. After all it is not supposed to be eat-out joint.

Looks are deceptive. I got carried over by the way this place looks from outside more than once on my way to office. That was only why I wanted to try it out. I did a big mistake by suggesting this place for my team lunch. Dropped in during one night. A private party was going on and the place looked just cool! Didn't even think twice on deciding the place. The next day the whole 20 members of our team landed there for lunch. They informed the food is getting ready. We waited a little when the soup was served and it was good. Waited a li'l more to have the food ready. It was nothing but lousy. White rice, two veg curries tasting somewhere between poor and pathetic and two loathsome looking non-veg curries, all for Rs 250 per head. I had to start taking the food myself to avoid looking embarrassed. No one uttered even a word during the lunch. It was just sinking in that we were just being getting looted. When I talked to the manager about the disappointing menu, I was told, "This is what Buddha's Creek is all about!". And she was so generous to offer us "complimentary" dessert, some fried noodles with ice cream, which in fact was good. So our starting and end was good and I would rather forget about the part in between. NEVER ever will visit this place again or suggest this place.

I was at this place beginning January and was very pleasantly surprised. I have not seen a similar surrounding in India yet. (Maybe I need to travel more?) but the place is lovely - green and so soothing. I was greeted on this day personally by the manager, a witty woman (PR PR!) and ordered srilankan cuisine which left me wanting to come back again. Service is good. I will definirely visit again when I am in India again. :- )
